On a recent visit to Publix I was standing in line at the pharmacy and Alicia was sitting in the chairs directly behind me. She struck up a fun conversation with the grandmotherly lady beside her. They were have a fun time pretending when I heard the lady say, "You're going to get cold." I turn around and Alicia has her shirt pulled all the way up. I tell her to put her shirt down and she responds in a very loud voice, "I'm putting my bra on!" Oh, dear. The man in front of me asks how old she is. "3", I say. All he says is, "Mmmmm." Yep, me too... Alicia and I did talk later about appropriate places to pretend to put on our underclothes ; )
The next week we are shopping in the same Publix - it is quite crowded and someone says, "Excuse me guys!" Alicia responds quite offended, "I'm not a guy, I'm a girlie girl!" Yes, you are Alicia.
This week she told me that her princess doll looked "marvelous". I gave her a cookie to eat and she told me, "These cookies taste like heaven!" She has quite the pompous speech for a 3 year old!

Hi!
I would like to talk to you about an article I wrote that, being a parent, I think you would enjoy (on early childhood education). I'd love it if you could drop me an email quick so I can give you more details if you're interested or if you were interested in new content for your blog.

Millie announces every time that she is a little girl and Camden is a little boy. She is mostly unpredictable in what she will say next, too. Gotta love this age.
