Summer Time

So it has been a VERY long time since the last post! We have had a fun and busy summer so far. We spent a lot of May and June down at Truluck Island - fun... yet with 2 babes in tow, it did not resemble anything like a vacation. ;- ) The kids loved the pool and Alicia loved feeding the crabs and seeing dolphins from the dock. And of course she loved seeing her Zsa Zsa so much : )

Then after being home a week, the kids and I packed up to spend a week in Wilmington with my family while Trey was at youth camp. Alicia had a lot of fun playing with her cousin Fisher. She came home talking about him non-stop and telling me how much she missed him. Fisher stayed at the grandparents with us for 2 days. He was so sweet to Alicia. It was great seeing them play so much. It didn't take too long for Alicia's personality to get warmed up... Then she had no reservations in bossing him around. The quote of the week was by Fisher... "Zachary is nice, but Alicia, she's crazy." I don't think he is used to talkative, emotional girlie girls trying to keep up with him :-)

We made it to the beach a few times. Gdad and Grandma had fun chasing after them. Alicia doesn't let me do anything for her while Grandma is around - no bedtime, no potty time, no teeth brushing, no bath... And Zachary liked sitting outside with Gdad watching the trees, birds & squirrels... So I actually got a few moments to myself
