At 7 1/2 months Zachary weighs a whopping 19 lb. 12 oz. He likes to eat everything! He hasn't refused anything yet! We started minimal finger foods at 7 months. He does well feeding himself "wagon wheels" - the first time I gave him one I thought I'd end up with a soggy mess - but he bit and chewed it piece by piece. In just a few minutes it was completely gone. Puffs have been quite a bit more difficult to manage. He looses them when he closes his fist! But some do make it to the mouth!
His sleep is much better. He wakes once during a 12-13 hours span. Oddly he still rarely rolls - other than onto his tummy to sleep. He reaches for toys but doesn't roll to get them. He prefers playing sitting up rather than on his back or tummy (still hates tummy time!) He still takes 3 naps a day - usually 2 long and 1 short.
Zachary LOVES the outside. I don't hear a peep from him the entire time we are outside. Doesn't he look like the coolest baby ever in these shades!!

He's quite cute in a cap too!
He melts my heart. : ) He's a happy fellow most days as long as he gets his sleep. However, he is beginning to enter the separation anxiety phase. He usually wants to be held when he sees me. He is still scared of noises like the vaccuum, hand dryers and toilets flushing.
He and Alicia are quite the pair. She likes to take care of him and he just beams when he sees her. She doesn't like it when he chews on or hits her toys though. We are having to work on her with her bossing him round!! She will definitely lash out at him! But sometimes I can't blame her! Last week (in the doctor's office of all places) he reached for her ballerina necklace and broke it! There were 100 tiny beads all over the floor. Alicia took it well, but I can understand why she is becoming so protective!
