Alicia got to have fun with her Easter basket early Easter morning.

Later at church she hunted Easter eggs. She found eggs with chocolate in them, so she had her first chocolate candy. She loved it!
Two weeks ago Alicia participated in an Easter egg hunt hosted by the church where she attends her Mother's Morning Out program. It was a fun event with worship songs, puppets and the story of "resurrection eggs". Then they broke up into age groups to hunt eggs - Alicia racked up! AND she discovered that there was CANDY inside!! Yummy!
After hunting the eggs there was a carnival with jump castles, animal balloons, crafts and tons of food. A very fun morning!

For Easter her teachers gave her a bag with some Easter gifts and a picture of her with the other little ones in her class. She LOVES the picture of her classmates. I put it in a plastic sleeve so that she can carry it around. Until then, I didn't realize that she knew all of their names. I don't know why I assumed that she didn't know them since she sees them every week. I guess I thought she just saw them as other babies, but she loves to point and tell us all of their names - and if she goes a few days without seeing the picture, she squeals & gets incredibly excited when she sees it!
