So how long did YOU wait? Trey got to the polls a little before 7am since he needed to be at a meeting at 10am... Well, he didn't vote until 10am - so much for his meeting! Alicia and I thought we were smart and got there at 9:20 - after the morning rush - ha! It took me 4 hr 10 min to cast my vote! Yep, it was 1:30 when I finally hit that cast ballot button. Thankfully Trey was able to take Alicia between 10-12:30 and get her a snack, nap and clean diaper. She was extremely well behaved the couple of hours that she was with me. My heart goes out to all the moms with several babies and young kids in tow. The folks behind me had at least an hour longer wait - and there were already some fussy little ones!
But regardless of the wait, it is a blessing to have the freedom to cast our vote. So if you haven't yet, get out and vote! Just be sure to bring some snacks and a good book! : )

Wow Kelly I bet that made for a long day! I voted early, but Adam chose to wait and got to enjoy the rain while he stood in line today.
