Alicia at 13 1/2 months

Well, Alicia is 13 1/2 months today and still not the slightest bit interested in walking.  Three weeks ago she would take 2-3 steps, but that only lasted 2 days.  Occasionally she will walk holding on to only one finger, but typically she prefers to hold onto 2 fingers or her walking toys so that she can run!  However, her vocabulary is amazing!  She is saying more words everyday.  I counted up and she uses well over 40 words to refer to objects.  She will imitate us saying many more.  She also can point to hair, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, hands, feet, toes and belly buttons.

She has been into hats and bows lately (she can say both and will even put her bowl on her head at dinner and call it a hat - yep, her sense of humor is already coming through).  Here is a cute shot of her with Trey's toboggan on.
If she sees a computer, cell phone or camera she starts saying Baby! Baby! Baby! - she wants to see pictures of herself  : )  We often have to "put my phone down for a nap" (a.k.a. hide it) so she will concentrate on something else!  Babies are still her favorite!

Oh, yeah - if she is quiet it means that she is playing with Mama or Daddy's "toys".  She isn't one to play with her toys by herself.  Here
is Alicia yesterday when she fished through my purse and found my coupon envelope.
