She loves to listen to Trey play the guitar. As soon as he opens the case she starts saying "tar! tar! tar!". (in our house star, car and guitar all sound the same - but a mother's intuition can tell the difference!!)
She liked playing with the lights as we decorated the tree. I found it interesting that she liked taking a light and shining it on her sweatshirt - I guess it made the flowers on her sweatshirt shine. Anyway, it kept her very busy for a while...
We walk around the neighborhood most evenings so that she can see the houses decorated. She says "Oooooh! Oooooh!". She is facinated with stars and angels. She can spot a star anywhere (for instance she hollers "tar! tar! tar!" everytime we pass a Hardees' in the car). She also points to the angel on top of our tree and another one that I let her play with and says "ah jew". I love it!
Here is a pic of us before the Schuler Party.
And here is a picture of cousin Leila helping Alicia walk around at the party. Leila is so sweet and motherly towards Alicia!

Too cute! This Christmas will be so different for you compared to last year. Alicia's talking now and so interested in everything. How special! Oh, is she walking fully yet? Such a big girl!
