Just Like Daddy...

Alicia was out on the porch helping Daddy grill some fish and I came outside to find her wearing Daddy's cap.  Hmmm...  She already is looking and acting like him...  I think she wants to be just like Daddy!  : )

Those of you that don't get the joy of seeing Alicia in person very often may wonder - how is she like Trey?  Well first of all - she is LOUD.  At church we bring her into the service for the last few songs, and she sings along.  Often she sings louder than the praise team.  Her voice fills up the room and she pumps her arms and legs like crazy to the beat, bouncing more than Trey...  When she is happy she rarely laughs, she tenses up like crazy and lets out an ear piercing squeal.  Those that know Trey, know his scream when he is excited...  She is also a people person.  She loves people watching - she even likes books with people in them.  Cartoon people don't cut it.  She squeals and smiles at people in books.  And she is so easily distracted, yet observant...  She won't eat if strange people are around or if she looks down from the high chair and sees my painted toenails.  If there is a new object around she has to check it out before she can concentrate.  She has to touch everything - the ladybugs on her wallpaper and lamp, logos on shirts, words on pages, lint on the floor, stripes on a blanket...  And she's not scared - she tries to put her face in the water, likes to swing - the higher the better, loves to be turned upside down or swung in a circle, will reach out and pull the fur of dogs and cats...  She's such a sweet, huggable bundle of energy.  We love her so much!
