Alicia and I journeyed to Charlotte April 11-13 to attend our friends Matt & Jennifer's wedding and to visit Aunt Kimberly and Matt. Alicia let me know loud and louder and louder still that she does not appreciate car rides over an hour. Thankfully my friend Kim Sadlier went with us so she was able to talk to Alicia and TRY to calm her as she wailed. So our 4 hr trip took almost 6 hours... Coming back it was only slightly better... What happened to sleeping in the car????
Jenn & Matt's wedding was beautiful. It was great to see them and catch up with some of my other Gastonia friends. Alicia joined me at the reception and enjoyed the people and dancing! Unfortunately, I was so preoccupied with her that I didn't get a picture of the happy couple... Shame on me!
